Jonah is a litigator whose practice includes business, construction, intellectual property, land use and trust and estate disputes. From 2003 to 2007, Jonah worked as an associate with K&L Gates, where his practice focused on commercial litigation and environmental and land use issues. From 2007 to 2009, he worked as an associate at Stokes Lawrence, where he continued his commercial litigation practice.
RECENT REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS
- Obtained favorable settlement and dismissal of siding subcontractor in multi-party construction defect suit.
- Negotiated purchase of the Lower Town Wall in Index, Washington, one of the most popular and significant rock climbing areas in the Pacific Northwest, to save the site from granite quarrying operations and preserve it for public recreation.
- Prevailed on behalf of heirs in TEDRA action involving breaches of fiduciary duty by personal representative of estate.
- Obtained summary dismissal of surplus lines carrier in insurance coverage litigation related to underlying construction defect claims.
- Representing employer, obtained summary dismissal of claims by former employee.

Washington Regional Coordinator of the Access Fund, a nationwide advocacy organization involved in promoting public policy, stewardship and conservation, grassroots activism, education and land acquisition for climbing activities.
Jonah also represents various non-profit organizations and individuals in matters involving election and land use law.
PERSONAL INTERESTS
Before he became an attorney, Jonah worked as both a climbing guide and an emergency medical technician. Now the father of two small children, he still enjoys skiing, rock climbing and international travel, and finds the challenge of integrating his kids into those activities to be a greater challenge than the activities themselves.
